Our philosophy

Small in scale.
Intentional in every detail.

Nestled Inn isn't a hotel chain. It's a handful of thoughtfully designed rooms on a quiet street in Eastsound, where the only sounds are gulls, wind in the firs, and the distant pull of a ferry horn.

We believe a great stay doesn't come from a long list of amenities — it comes from getting the essentials right: a bed that feels like home, a morning meal that starts locally, and a host who actually knows the island.

The Nestled experience

What we do differently

We don't do keycards or front-desk hours. What we do is pay attention to the things that actually shape a stay.

Breakfast, done properly

Fresh-baked bread from the island bakery, eggs from a nearby pasture, and coffee roasted in Bellingham. We eat what our guests eat — nothing boxed, nothing rushed.

Artisan touches everywhere

Hand-poured candles from a local apothecary, linen from a Washington mill, soap made by a rosemont farm. Every object has a maker you can name.

Real local knowledge

We'll tell you which tidepool is worth the walk, where to find the best salmon bake, and which trail has the best sunset. Not from a brochure — from living here.

Easy arrival, zero friction

Free parking, self-check-in, and a phone number that reaches a real person. No front desk, no paperwork — just a key, a welcome note, and the island.

Island guides & recommendations

A curated folder of trails, tide charts, kayak routes, and hidden beaches — updated seasonally. We print them by hand; you take them with you.

Quiet by design

No TVs in the rooms. No minibars. Just comfortable beds, good light, and the kind of silence you only find on an island surrounded by water and forest.

Location

In Eastsound.
Where the island meets the sea.

Orcas Island sits in the heart of the San Juans, and Eastsound is its quiet commercial capital. Nestled Inn is a short walk from the ferry terminal, the harbor, and the best restaurants on the island — but tucked on a tree-lined street so you can close the door and forget the world.

From here, you're ten minutes from Cattle Point Lighthouse, twenty from Mt. Constitution — the highest point in the San Juans — and five minutes from the beach where orcas are sometimes seen passing through the channel.
